THE alarm bells are ringing ever louder at Aggborough after manager Stuart Watkiss revealed his transfer market agony.
Watkiss has missed out on eight Kidderminster Harriers targets already due to the on-going ownership wrangle that threatens to plunge their Conference return into chaos. He is unable to make solid contract offers to players and must instead work to an estimated budget which assumes Barry Norgrove's consortium takes over from Lionel Newton.
With pre-season training looming next Wednesday, Harriers still have only eight men on contract.
Watkiss admitted: "In fairness to those players, they've got to take the positive offers. They've got mortgages to pay, families to look after and they want their futures secured."
