THE Crown Phoenix Big Band and singers will entertain at the Centenary Summer Ball, to be held at Astley village hall on Saturday.
All proceeds from the event will go to Kemp Hospice.
The band will play a selection of music made famous by artistes such as Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, while the singers pay tribute to Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and Peggy Lee - to name a few.

A party of 35 members visited the garden at Buckland Place, Dunley, the home of Peter and Janet Lawson on June 2.
The garden has been built over the last 15 years, beside a local stream, and is a blend of formal and informal gardening, with major features.
