THE recent fashion show raised £145. A tea party was organised for last Tuesday, in aid of Acorns Hospice.
At the June meeting, June Gordon mentioned an outing to Wightwick Manor, on Wednesday, and members were reminded to order 2006 calendars and diaries.
The guest speaker was Mr Wren, talking about the Farne Islands.
Social time took a Scottish theme, as June Homer, suitably clad in tartan, led the singing, Carrie Fellows read a Scottish poem, Rosemary Radhead played the piano, while June and Margaret Davis danced the Gay Gordons.
