ON June 10 members paid tribute to the late Len Hughes, a stalwart of the society for many years, who died last year, recalling memories of Len, and playing recordings of appropriate music.
Terry Wilkinson chose a transcription for two pianos of the Scherzo from Beethoven's Ninth (Choral) Symphony. Graham Kiteley played the Suite from Burma Victory by Rawsthorne - Len was a member of the Burma Star association.
Bob Drew picked the last four Beethoven Bagatelles, then Ian Grigg played the first movement of Beethoven's Choral.
Von Stewart chose Song of India from Sadko by Rimsky-Korsakov and Eva Turner singing In Questa Reggia from Turandot.
Graham Edwards opted for an extract from a programme presented some years ago, Butter No Parsnips, and Liszt's Les Jeux D'Eau a la Ville D'Este. June Edwards ended the programme with Beethoven's Triple Concerto.
Tomorrow night at Holy Innocents Hall, Kidderminster, Graham will introduce "Four Englishmen of 1905", at 7.30pm.
