LOCAL HISTORY SOCIETY: A Brief History of Schools in Warwickshire was the subject of the speaker David Howe. Mr Howe entertained the society with descriptions of the early development of schools and quotes from old schools logs and punishment books.
The next meeting will be a visit to Welford-on-Avon on July 13 where the members of their local history society will provide a guided tour of the village. Members are asked to meet at the Memorial Hall (opposite the maypole) at 7pm.
