THE Prostate Cancer Charity is launching its first national survey to find out the experiences of the 30,000 UK men who are diagnosed with the disease every year.
As Chief Executive of the Prostate Cancer Charity, I appeal to you and your readers to take part in this survey.
The aim is to help us find out how men with prostate cancer are treated by the NHS so we can ensure through our campaigns, support services and research that these men get the best possible care.
If you have been diagnosed with prostate cancer since April 2003 and/or know someone who would like to help us please call 0208 222 7680 and leave your name and full address or write to Chris Hiley, Head of Policy and Research at The Prostate Cancer Charity, 3 Angel Walk, Hammersmith, London, W6 9HX and we will send you a questionnaire.
You can also visit our website www.prostate-cancer.org.uk and fill in a copy of the survey online.
JOHN NEATE,
Chief Executive of The Prostate Cancer Charity
