A BREDON householder is appealing against Wychavon District Council's refusal of planning permission for a bungalow and detached garage.
The council refused the planned development to the rear of Lindenville on Main Street saying it would be out of character and harmful to an adjoining conservation area.
Turning down the plan, council planning officer Emma Worley also raised concerns about highway safety.
"Approval of this proposal would be likely to result in the submission of further similar proposals which would be more difficult to resist and would, progressively, harm the character of the area and the setting of the adjacent conservation area," she added in her submission.
Anyone wishing to have their say about the appeal should send representations to The Planning Inspectorate, 3/08b Kite Wing, Temple Quay House, The Square, Bristol BS1 6PN.
