IN regard to the financial problems affecting the much needed services and care at our Evesham Hospital. When the original finance crisis was revealed a few years ago, when the present Primary Care Trust took over, I wrote to the Journal a letter, which was not published, suggesting the Journal be involved co-ordinating possible donations from each family in the area, in the order of a minimum £10. The appeal would be open to business donations. I would surmise the resulting fund would go a long way to clear monetary shortfall, to get on with improving the care and treatment available to our growing population in this area, not go in reverse! This gesture by all our people, would ensure continuing surgical and medical care for all.
