A FAMILY fun weekend, to raise funds to care for animals at an animal rescue centre, will take place on Saturday and Sunday.
The magnificent gardens at Danemere Animal Rescue in Tibberton, near Droitwich will be open to the general public.
Visitors will be able to see the animals, learn all about the importance of looking after pets as well as have their dogs and cats micro-chipped for just £10. Danemere's Dave Lannie said: "We are always short of money and this is one of our main yearly fund-raising events.
"It is important to raise people's awareness and this will give visitors an insight into the work we do here."
There will also be a tombola, raffle and stalls with home-baked cakes at the Plough Road centre. Admission for the event, between 12 noon and 4pm will be free, with a £1 charge to see the gardens.
People who want more information can call the centre on 01905 345655.
