A new exhibition by award-winning sculptor Caro Sweet can be seen in Bransford from Friday to Sunday, July 1-3.
The show is being held in her new Beeches Barn Sculpture Studio and will include a series of pieces illustrating her interest in the diversity of human head forms.
One particular piece is a four-feet-high head, modelled in clay, named Eve in the Garden, which will be used to make a mould for a subsequent bronze casting.
The sculptures are not the only works that will be on show. Caro's drawings and prints will also be shown, as will some cement and fibreglass artist's proofs.
Having trained at the Frink School of Figurative Sculpture in Staffordshire, Caro says her inspiration comes from "the amazing potential we all have as human beings", and the ways in which we communicate through our physical forms.
The exhibition's opening hours are 10am to 4pm. For further information about Caro and her work, visit www.carosweet.com.
