WITH reference to your front page article on the refurbishment of the Ledbury Masters House for £3 million (Ledbury Reporter, June 17), I can only express my amazement at Herefordshire Council's ability at achieving such poor value for money.
A glance through any of the local property pages would show that it's possible to buy outright a minor country estate for that sort of money and I would personally estimate that £300,000 would be pushing it in sorting out the property.
No individual would be so careless with their own money, just get quotes from some local builders.
