LEDBURY Magpies have played two fast and exciting games in the Worcester Summer Netball League but have failed to pick up any points.
Last week Magpies played Misys at Worcester and did well to keep possession in the centre of the court through Jackie Dixon (C) and Cheryl Evans (WA), although at half-time they were 21-16 down.
Misys came on stronger as the game continued and, although both teams played excellent netball, Misys ran out 36-29 winners.
Cheryl Evans was the player of the match.
Magpies played with six players against Link Ladies the previous week and, with Alison Earp (GA) scoring from all over the circle, the half-time score was 17-17.
Although Tracey Arlott (GK), Jackie Dixon (C) and Cheryl Evans (WA) all played well, the visiting shooter missed very little and Link Ladies pulled away to win 31-41.
Player of the match was Tracey Arlott.
