MALVERN'S ultimate frisbee team Lords Of The Ring travelled to Eastbourne to play in the British Open last weekend.
The event, now in its 9th year, is a three-day competition which allows international teams to compete in the tournament as well as teams from all over the UK, something which doesn't happen at usual tournaments.
Lords played a number of competitive matches against some of the UK's top teams, such as Leeds, who went on to finish second in the tournament, the winners being Tooting Tigers from London.
The Lords when on to finish a respectable 16th out of 28 teams.
The club is always welcoming to new members, it practices twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7-9pm on the Americans, the other side of the railway lines at Lower Howsell playing fields, and would welcome anyone who would like to give ultimate a try.
