BEN Smith has agreed a two-year extension to his existing contract which will take him to the end of the 2008 season.
Smith is in his fourth season with Worcestershire since moving from Leicester and recently scored thr-ee successive championship tons.
He said: "I have made it no secret that I would like to finish my career with Worcestershire and I am delighted that we have agreed this contract extension.
"It gives me security and I can concentrate on helping the team achieve the success it is due."
