THE Herefordshire Football Association has provided further opportunities for football coaches to step onto or move up the football coaching ladder.
The following courses are available:
FA Level 2 (UEFA B Part 1). Initial week of training August 15-20 with final course assessment March.
FA Level 3 (UEFA B full badge). Initial week of training August 15-20 with final course assessment March.
FA Level 2 goalkeeping coaching certificate on August 21, 27 & 28.
HFA Introduction to coaching junior goalkeepers on Septem-ber 4.
FA Level 1 certificate in coaching football. Course starts September 16.
Certificate in first aid for sport. Course details still to be confirmed.
Paul Carpenter, football development officer said: "August and September are going to be busy months with a further FA level 1 course and the start of our second FA level 2 course and for the first time ever in Herefordshire we will launch the FA level 3 UEFA B certificate in coaching football course.
"Two goalkeeping courses have also been organised, the FA Level 2 goalkeeping coaching certificate that is open to coaches who currently hold a minimum of the of FA Level 2 certificate in coaching and an introduction to coaching junior goalkeepers' course that is open to coaches who wish to coach their own club/school goalkeepers.
"I expect demand for places to be high so please book early to avoid disappointment.''
