I WAS privileged to be invited to attend the dress rehearsal of Cider with Rosie by Laurie Lee at the Swan Theatre, Worcester.
The production needed some audience participation before being let loose on the public.
It was truly excellent, the funniest and best-produced play I have seen for a long time.
Although my wife and I regularly attend plays at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre it has been some 12 months since we have seen a production at The Swan and we will certainly go again soon after seeing this production.
