SO parking revenues in Worcester have almost doubled (They're raking it in with revenues, Worcester News, Friday, June 17). Why not give this good source of income a mightier boost by selling off even more city centre parking sites to developers?
If you can help the environment, the voters' health and rake in enormous sums for the coffers, all at once, that's got to be worth falling foul of that increasingly alienated species, the car user hasn't it?
The railings around the former Dolday/Newport street car park make me incandescent with rage every time I see them. I'm sure before long the signs will be trumpeting the creation of 'luxury city centre apartments' - or similar.
