VIOLINIST Janet Masters, co-leader of the ESO, will be holding a concert at Malvern Girls' College in aid of cancer research.
The programme will include Britten's Simple Symphony and Bach's Double Violin Concerto, with one of Janet's senior pupils as the other soloist. She will also be directing the college's chamber orchestra.
Janet holds a concert every year in aid of cancer charities, since her mother died of cancer when she was a child.
The concert is at York Hall on Friday, July 1, at 7.30pm. Tickets (£6.50 adults, £3.50 students, £15 family) are available from the music department on 01684 584632 or from the TIC in Church Street.
