THE Kidderminster Harriers power struggle seems set to end after a press conference was called for Monday.
Aggborough Holdings, the only consortium to put in a take-over bid, intend to make an "important announcement" which looks certain to shape Harriers' season ahead.
Vice-chairman Barry Norgrove and retired businessman Neil Savery are the men behind the group who have put a £400,000 offer on the table to majority shareholder Lionel Newton.
The main delaying issue was over whether the consortium would buy Newton's shares, available for just £1 alongside the investment, rather than just loaning the club money.
The two parties have since been locked in discussion with both agreeing to a confidentiality agreement, meaning the saga has run on throughout the summer with boss Stuart Watkiss unable to make any signings.
A Hampshire-based consortium, who were said to be interested in buying Harriers, are yet to make any move.
