HISTORY will be brought to life at the Greyfriars in Worcester at the weekend.
Visitors to the 15th Century timber-framed merchant's house in Friar Street on Saturday and Sunday can enjoy a fun-packed family day with a host of activities to suit all ages.
Children are invited to follow the history trail or take a look at the archaeology dig pit, which reveals how treasures are unearthed.
They can have a go at making a traditional pomander to keep nasty smells at bay, design their own shield or try writing with a quill.
There will also be a collection of historical toys.
On Sunday, re-enactment group the Sir William Gascoigne's Fellowship will also be on hand to give visitors a taste of what life was like in medieval times.
Custodian Rachel Bannon said: "This will be a great fun-filled weekend with lots of hands-on activities for visitors to enjoy."
The Greyfriars is open from 1pm to 5pm.
