A 13-year-old schoolgirl has become the youngest author to be published in South Africa's main medical journal for her research on 'PlayStation thumb'.
Safura Abdool Karim interviewed 120 children for a science project about problems they suffered after playing on their computers.
She discovered one in eight of those questioned had symptoms of what she dubbed 'PlayStation Thumb', which includes blisters, numbness and tingling.
