BIDFORD'S young firefighters were in action on Saturday cleaning cars for charity.
The youngsters and their leaders set up their buckets and sponges at the Bramley Way fire station and raised £480.70 for the Marie Curie Cancer Trust.
Leading firefighter Mike Franklin said: "This was an excellent effort, given the weather, and the crew would like to thank those who supported the event."
