TWO city teams are joint leaders in the Worcester Evening League Division One table after emerging victorious from their latest matches.
Worcester gained a 59-run win over Royal Worcester Exiles after hitting a massive 184-1, largely thanks to Richard Franklin and Waddingon Mwayenga.
Worcester Nomads had no trouble in defeating Barnards Green by six wickets with Paul Gardner striking 40 runs.
Dave Kyte's 5-12 was too good for Commoners who only scored 46 all out to give Pearmen a convincing victory.
Gavin Spares hit 72 for Birlingham and R Read 74 not out for City Police which enabled both sides to win.
