AVONCROFT went down to Henley-in-Arden by 59 runs in a friendly on Sunday.
Croft were undone by a second wicket stand by Griffith (55) and Ross (71) as their Warwickshire opponents made 222-8.
Spinner Spencer George was the best of Avoncroft's bowlers, taking 1-16 in a tight six over spell. Lee Rodway and Andy Nicol took two wickets each.
Captain Matt Hare (31) and Jon Bird (63) top scored for their side, but they were dismissed for 163 in the final over.
