Ombersley obtain a
losing draw
ALL rounder Duncan Catterall's heroics with the bat and ball could not save title-chasing Ombersley from a damaging draw in the Worcester League Division One on Saturday.
Catterall had taken 5-39 to keep Stourbridge to 204-9 in 55 overs.
However, despite hitting 93 Catterall could not stop his side from slumping to 162-8.
The draw saw Ombersley replaced at the top of the table by Kington.
They will be looking to bounce back on Saturday when they take on mid-table Astwood Bank away (1.30pm start).
Chaddesley Corbett 95 all out Bewdley 99-2
Chaddesley Corbett lose by eight wickets
CORBETT were unable to produce the form which has seen them drive away from the relegation zone in Division One on Saturday.
Chaddesley had gone into the game on the back of two wins in recent weeks, but were no match for big hitting Bewdley.
Defeat saw Corbett slip back to second from bottom.
Corbett face their biggest match of the season so far on Saturday when they take on basement boys Luctonians (1.30pm start).
