RICHARD Ferley and Jermone Connor's 76 run partnership handed Droitwich a seven wicket victory over Ombersley and ensured their place in the final of the Worcestershire Knockout Cup.
Droitwich set up a game with Netherton at Kidderminster on July 4 (6.30pm start) after a forceful display by its batsman.
Spa's opponents Ombersley had started powerfully, with Russ Collins (33) and Joph Young top scoring as Ombersley reached 111-7. Damien Gariff was the pick of Droitwich's bowlers, taking 2-21 in three overs.
Australian Josh Staines (12) and Gariff (19) went cheaply, but Connor (36) and Ferley (37) guided their side over the winning line by the 27th over.
