FORMER Shrewsbury Town winger Sam Aiston is a big target for Kidderminster Harriers boss Stuart Watkiss.
Aggborough Holdings' expected take-over of the club this week has opened the door for much-needed new signings.
And Watkiss has extra time for negotiations after delaying the start of pre-season training until Monday.
Aiston, 28, fits the bill for the Harriers manager but is interesting Burton, Rochdale and Colchester after failing to agree a deal with Darlington.
The left-sided player has been joined by a host of other players in transfer talks at Aggborough with Watkiss having made a handful of firm offers.
Out-of-contract midfielder Dean Keates is due to discuss his future with Watkiss and Mansfield target Chris Beardsley should return for training.
