GEORGE Cowley cracked a superb century but, when he was caught trying to clear the boundary, Badsey's hopes of victory at Barnards Green were dashed.
The County League leaders totalled 203-6 with David Powell (3-62) and Nick Powell (2-38) the best bowlers and, when Cowley and Stirling Hamman helped the reply to 140-1 with eight overs left, an away win was still on the cards.
However, Cowley's departure proved the turning point and the visitors settled for a losing draw on 185-8.
