UKIP Bromsgrove is concerned about the operation of the newly-opened customer service centre, which is located at the Dolphin Centre in School Drive.
This centre replaces the previous customer desks at the Council House with the aim of placing them all at one convenient location.
But many people are frustrated to discover that they must travel (not an easy walk) from Burcot Lane to School Drive to deal with matters that were previously handled at the Council House.
There is also dissatisfaction with the response (or rather lack of it!) that callers receive on the telephone.
They frequently dial 01527 881644 only to receive a recorded message telling them that they are in a queue. Then they are told to call back or leave a message due to the current high number of calls being handled.
They are promised a reply within three working hours, but it never comes.
This is poor service from the district council.
