BROADWAY'S county ace Linda Carruthers equalled her own course record at the Cotswolds club when carding a gross 70.
The one-handicapper was playing in an LGU Medal and Silver Scratch Salver.
The annual John Freeman Trophy event provided a memorable day for Broad-way members who occupied the top three finishing positions in the mixed event that attracted 92 competitors from 19 different clubs.
Mike Everitt and Ian Wat-kins represented Broadway in the latest county seniors match.
The pair helped Glouce-stershire to a 6-5 victory over Glamorgan at Lans-down GC with Watkins winning his singles clash 4 and 3 although his clubmate went down 3 and 2 in his match.
