Our meeting was held on June 8 and Rachael Smith captivated us with her talk on the history of plant hunting.
Her detailed knowledge of these courageous and dedicated men was backed up by a selection of very interesting slides.
The meeting was well attended and our produce tables did brisk business. Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 13 (7.30pm for 8pm) and we are looking forward to hearing about allotments in Birmingham from our speakers, Adrian Stagg and Eddie Campbell. Visitors are very welcome.
