YOUNGSTERS stepped back in time during a school Victorian day.
Pupils from Blackwell First School, in St Catherine's Road, dressed in period outfits and played with toys from the era.
A historian visited the school and taught pupils about Victorians and the way they lived.
The children also had a go at maypole dancing.
Headteacher Ian Howells said: "It was a fantastic day and the pupils got a lot out of it. It was very appropriate because the school is over one hundred-years-old.
"The event also received a lot of support from parents who made some great costumes. We managed to raise £100 for the Primrose Hospice, which I am really pleased with as well."
