A SPA logistics firm has scooped a top award for their work in the community.
Manager Tony Wilson at Exel Logistics.
Exel Droitwich Spa, based on the Berry Hill Industrial Estate, picked up its Chairman's Award for Community Involvement 2005.
Exel, which is a national company, is one of the main sponsors of the town's music festival and has been involved with many projects in the community, including taking school children on farm visits and funding music schemes. It was the only award to be handed out by the company at its annual general meeting.
A spokesman for the company said: "It is a major honour, reflecting on a great deal of hard work by everyone involved and all departments throughout the Exel depot."
The firm is now planning an open day on Saturday, July 30, with all proceeds going to Chadsgrove School in Bromsgrove.
It starts at 2pm at Wychbold Village Hall with a charity football match, followed by a barbecue, refreshments, a disco, tombola, and bric-a-brac stands, at 4pm.
