THERE was success for the girls of Pershore Town and Evesham United at last Sun-day's annual Worcestershire FA's Female Festival at Droitwich.
Town's Under-14 side took the major honours with victory over Worcester City to claim their age group title, while the United youngsters reached the Under-10 final where they lost out to Redditch United.
The latter completed a double with victory in the Under-16 competition, while there were wins elsewhere for Warndon Villages (U-12) and Worcester City (open age).
l PERSHORE Town Ladies are in desperate need of a goalkeeper for the forthcoming season.

l TRAINING for a newly formed Under-13 side at Broadway FC is taking place every Thursday night from 6pm.
Interested players should be in Year 7 and are invited to the sessions that take place at the Milestone Ground, Childs-wickham Road. Ring Tracey on 01386 853296 or ask for Gary on the night.
l TRIALS for Evesham United's Under-17 side will take place at Evesham High School on Sunday, July 17 from 10am.
