REDDITCH Development Corporation chiefs have offered to step in to help save the struggling Forge Mill Residents' Association. They will give residents the support needed to get it back on its feet.

"If the residents approach us we will do everything in our power to help," said a corporation spokesman.

The corporation's offer comes after the Indicator highlighted residents' problems in running the association.

Established for five years, the group began to flounder 12 months ago when committee meetings had to be abandoned because residents had nowhere to meet.

All members' attempts to find a suitable meeting place have so far fallen short.
