BROMSGROVE Swimming Club can look forward to another season in the Junior League Division One after a string of fine performances in the third round on Saturday.
The team finished the gala in third place, collecting 159 points to finish above local rivals Redditch and ensuring they cannot be relegated.
They ended the gala 98 points behind winners Boldmere.
Bromsgrove started slowly by the half way mark had slipped to sixth overall.
However a second half recovery, which saw its members record four victories, eight second places and ten third place finishes, saw them launch a recovery.
William Newton won the under-11s backstroke, while Dan Scarr was victorious in the under-11s freestyle and breaststroke.
Steve Muddiman finished first in the under-12s butterfly.
The under-11s quartet of Alice Alton, Megan Cotton, Emily Healey, Hollie Aldridge and Ellie Williams were runners-up in the freestyle and medley relay races.
Second
Williams also finished second in the breastroke race, while Muddiman was runner-up in the under-12s freestyle.
David Newton was second in the under-9s freesyle. The under-10s relay team of Libby Barrett, Charlotte Baker, Megan Kincart and Caelyn Hirschman were second in the freestyle.
Philip May, Kristian Higham, Sam Efiong and Newton were second in the under-9s freestyle relay race. William Newton, Joe Wright, Muddiman and Stefan Rietz were also runners-up in the under-12s medley relay.
