A QUARTET from Bromsgrove School produced a record smashing series of performances at National Primary School Relay Finals in Sheffield last week.
The quartet of Sophie-Anna Bales, Victoria Stokes, Claudia Cardinali and Rebecca Straw set new school records at the Ponds Forge pool.
They set new school times in the 4x25 metres medley relay (coming eighth) and freestyle relay (finishing tenth) to delight team manager Emma Buckinghamshire and the girls' on-looking parents.
Straw said: "I had a great time at the championships.
The pool was massive and very nice. It was a bit scary before the races but I felt more relaxed after the first race."
