THIRTEEN members of Evesham Wheelers took to the hills in perfect cycling weather last Sunday.
The route took the group via Chipping Campden with coffee in Moreton-in-Marsh with the return journey through Blockley and back into Evesham.
Three members represented the club in the Beacon Roads CC ten-mile Time Trial the previous day.
In blustery conditions, and a strong headwind on the longer outward stretch of the Salford Priors course, Brian Newton recorded a creditable time of 23 minutes and ten seconds. Adrian Main, meanwhile, clocked 25.50 and Arja Scarsbrook 25.51.
This Sunday's run will be to Stockdale Towers, Lower Swell starting at 9am, meet outside Argos in the High Street for a run catering for all abilities from beginners to racers.
