SOME lucky Redditch children living at Smallwood Almshouses enjoyed mess and fun last week at the launch of a new £90,000 crche funded by SureStart.
SureStart Redditch has funded an extension to the existing building to create crche facilities to allow resident parents to undertake training while ensuring their children are cared for in the same building.
It is a partnership project between SureStart and Bromford Housing Group, which owns the Almshouses. The extension was built by Alcester-based Leon Builders.
