MAY I congratulate Councillor Albert (Bunds are not a works of art) Wharrad for carrying out his promise of sowing wild flower seeds on the Bund in Far Moor Lane (Advertiser, April 6).
The current show is really magnificent, with some of the species reaching heights of 6-7ft.
He must have travelled far and wide to collect these specimens for our enjoyment.
For those wishing to view this unique display, it is recommended they do so before the council chops them down with its once-yearly cull.
