MEMBERS held their annual dinner recently at The Oddfellows Arms in Astwood Bank. Trophies were awarded to members who had gained awards in competitions for the previous year. Trophy winners included Irene Matthews, Alex Harris, Janet Roberts, Richard Holloway, James Goldsworthy, Roy Cottrill, Ray Davis, Len Stockall and John Cummings.
The society enjoyed a talk by guest speaker and locally renowned photographer Mike Wilkes.
The club has now broken up for its summer break. However, social evenings take place throughout July and August before the club recommences in September.
