ONE hundred golfers supported the 14th Annual Golf Day in June in aid of Primrose Hospice, held at Kings Norton Golf Club - one of the sponsors of the event. Over 180 people attended the dinner and disco following the golf day, and supported a number of fundraising initiatives held throughout the evening.
The organisers will shortly be presenting £12,600 to the Hospice - a record amount for this event which brings the total raised over the 14 years to nearly £115,000. Primrose Hospice would like to thank all who supported the event.
On September 26, the Inaugural Celebrity Golf Day takes place at Bromsgrove Golf Club. Entry fee is £295 per team of three or four and if the team has only three players, the fourth member will be a celebrity/sports personality.
The day begins at 11am with tea/coffee and bacon rolls, followed by a shotgun start at 1pm.
After the golf, there will be a three-course dinner at Bromsgrove Hotel (formerly known as the Pine Lodge Hotel) and after-dinner entertainment. To book, contact Primrose's fundraising team on 01527 875444.
