DEPARTING defender Adrian Viveash has backed Kidderminster Harriers to emerge from their recent rut without him.

The 35-year-old centre half returned to his parent club Swindon Town this week after Jan Molby decided against extending his one-month loan spell.

And although Viveash admits he is disappointed to be leaving Aggborough, he believes Harriers can bounce back without him.

He said: "It's a really nice club and I've enjoyed working alongside Jan and Gary Barnett because they're real football people.

"Sometimes things don't always go according to plan and four defeats in a row tells it's own story.

"Kidderminster have got a few good players on the treatment table at the moment so what I would say to the fans is judge the team when those players are back.

"It's well known that they have one of the lowest if not the lowest budget in the league so it will be difficult when there's people out.

"But I think there is enough quality and characters there to get them out of this situation."

The former Walsall and Reading man has been disappointed with his own form in recent matches and he admits he was at fault for Leyton Orient's first goal last weekend.

"We started the season well with three clean sheets and everyone was quick to praise us, but those people have been just as quick to have a dig when things haven't gone so well lately.

"Individual mistakes are costing goals, like mine last week, and that's a sign that things aren't going for us because when you're at the top you get away with those kind of things."
