JESPER Christiansen admits it feels like "a million years" since he last scored as the worst crisis of confidence of his career continues.

The 24-year-old Dane has appeared a disconsolate figure both on and off the field after extending his barren run to one goal in 30 matches.

His one and only strike came back in February in a 2-0 win over Swansea and Christiansen says the drought is playing on his mind.

"Of course I'm disappointed with my own form, I haven't scored for a million years and being a striker that's not a good thing.

"I feel if all else fails I've been working hard and running and doing my bit in that sense but football wise I'm not happy with myself at all.

"It's never been as bad as this for me before so I'll just have to take it as a challenge and try and build my confidence."

The former Odense frontman has vowed to continue fighting to recapture his form rather than loook for a move away from Aggborough.

"That's not on my mind now, I'm focused on Kidderminster, it's as much my fault as anybodys and it wouldn't fix anything," added Christiansen.

"Let's hope I'll get that first goal and then we're talking about getting more goals.
