PETER Clissett, who plays for Kidderminster Golf Club, won the C Division at the Midlands regional final of the Volkswagen Masters international golf tournament, at Hollinwell Golf Club, Nottinghamshire.
Clissett, who has a handicap of 19, scored 31. This victory qualifies him for the UK final, to be played at The Hertfordshire, on August 30/31.
Success there would put Clissett into the world finals.
Betty Dean won the club's Silver Division Ladies Stableford and Kemp qualifier
