DOZENS of Vale families could be facing ruined holidays following the disappearance of a taxi firm's diary containing future bookings.
The anxious boss of BR Taxis, Brett Grantham, has appealed to all customers who have booked in advance to contact him urgently to protect their arrangements.
He said that around 40 journeys to various airports had been booked at the time the diary vanished.
"We want to make sure than no-one loses out, so we would urge anyone who has booked with us to telephone and confirm the booking.
"We are desperate to ensure than no-one's holiday is ruined, so please get in touch with us as soon as possible," he said.
Mr Grantham said the diary went missing from the company's Evesham base.
"I reported the missing diary to the police as a theft but they didn't really seem very interested," he said.
He added: "All I am concerned about now is that no-one is let down and that all our advance bookings are honoured."
Anyone who believes they have have booked with the firm should call 01386 48414 to confirm their arrangements so they are not disappointed.
