ALCOHOL worth more than £2,100 has been stolen from a van.
The white Mercedes Sprinter van was targeted in Kings Road, Evesham, overnight last Tuesday.
The stolen items included 42 bottles of 'France Letellier' champagne, worth £1,134, 42 Pinot Grigio wines costing £630, six Palena Servignon worth £108 and miniatures: 23 Smirnoff vodkas, £46, 48 Gordon's gin, £96, 48 Bell's whisky, £96 and 40 Bianco Rosso, £80.
Evesham police are asking the public to tell them if they are offered any of the items or are aware of them being stored or consumed. They can be contacted on 08457 444 888, quoting 59C/220605.
In a second theft involving a van in Evesham, a £400 Ransomes hover mower and a £200 drill were taken from a white Nissan Sunny in Davies Road at 4am last Thursday.
Police say two people - possibly a man and a woman, or one man was of light build and about 5ft 2ins tall - were seen running away from the vehicle . Call police on 08457 444 888.
