FRIENDS of the Church Lench First School raised around £2,300 at their annual summer fete.
The committee was raising funds last Saturday for new computer equipment for the information communication unit. A new playground was also unveiled to pupils attending the event.
Volunteers from the school helped transform the school field which was previously over grown with bushes into a fantastic adventure area featuring a maze and blossom tunnels.
A Hollywood Walk of Fame, a pathway of star stepping stones with the handprints of pupils, past and present, was also revealed on Saturday.
Visitors were able to see the launch of the schools' new wooden Viking ship called the Golden Dragon, which was paid for by Supergrounds. Supergrounds was launched last September as a programme to improve school grounds by NatWest. The programme donated £4,000 to the playground.
