HEREFORDSHIRE batsman David Exall blasted 126 to send Kington to the top of the Crusader Worcestershire League.
Right-hand batsman Exall struck three sixes on his way to a 200-run partnership with Tom Brierley to win our batsman of the week award.
Exall's century helped Kington post 308-3 declared before Eastnor thwarted their victory hopes by holding out to 174-8.
But, despite not collecting maximum points, the 22-year-old was pleased with his career-best knock.
"It's my highest by five runs, beating a score I got when I was 15," he said.
"I batted really well and didn't really give any chances. I batted at number three and had a 200-partnership with opener Tom Brierley (98).
"It was a bit unfortunate for us that the team couldn't win. They were a bit negative and we declared early to give ourselves a chance.
"I was pleased with my own innings and my partnership and hopefully we can do the same again. The team are doing very well and I am having a good season."
Last year's Herefordshire young player of the year is enjoying a good season, having narrowly missed out on a ton earlier this month for Kington, as well as several useful contributions for his county.
"I scored 99 not out the week before against Stourbridge," Exall added. "A century for Herefordshire would be the next step up in my personal batting target."
Exall's youth might have won him the batsman gong, but it was experience that told for Kidderminster's Tony Burkes as he scooped the bowling award.
Burkes, aged 62, took remarkable figures of 6-6 for Kidderminster Seconds against Bromsgrove in the Fearnley Factory Shop Worcestershire Sunday Club Cricket League.
"I just bowled line and length and the batsmen missed them," he said.
"Two were bowled and two were caught at short mid-on."
Burkes, captain of Kidderminster Victoria's second XI in Crusader Worcestershire League Division Two, plays a major role at Chester Road. This is his 51st year at the club and he now coaches the juniors.
He added: "I have played at the club for 51 years from a junior. I have played a lot of first-team premier cricket.
"I was surprised to take six, especially considering I am 62. I have had 4-9 and also taken eight wickets."
