A "Members Evening" was held in June, with Jean Johnson as acting secretary and Eileen Fuller as president. Liz Cornish, from Wolverley WI, showed a range of quilts, handbags and wall-hangings, which she had won prizes for.
Gwen Palmer won the competition for the best rose.
Irene Bonner reported on the annual meeting in the Royal Albert Hall, London, and Jeanne Round reported on the six entries in the Food and Craft Fair, held at the Ramada Hotel, Bewdley.
Four members earned seven points for fourth place in bridge in the village games at Stone.
A new speakers' evening will be held at Inkberrow on July 28 at 7.15pm.
It was agreed to form teams for 2005/6 skittles.
Cookley will host a 90th anniversary tea party in the sports and social club.
On July 11, George Hook will give an illustrated talk on mother-of-pearl, at Drumart House, Cookley, starting at 7.15pm.
